I needed a new DVD player and decided to go for a high def version that gets close to Blu-Ray quality, but is still much cheaper. The Best Buy guy said: “Oh, by the way, you’ll need an HDMI cable to enjoy the enhanced image.” A what? I was informed this is the type of cable you need to have for the hook up, and it could later be used on a Blu-Ray when I upgrade. The cost there at Best Buy? With California sales tax: $151.
Obviously, curiosity got the better of me and I checked out what Amazon could do for me. I scored this. $21 with tax and shipping.
It arrived in two mailing days and works perfectly.
Obama is doing a great job in my opinion, but in eight years I’m voting for Jeff Bezos because Amazon has done more for my standard of living than any politician! Anyway, this is a great product at a bargain price.

the shipping was 10$ more than the cost of the cables!! 2 sets of two different sizes, 20+$ and the shipping 30+$..not a good deal at all, and I couldn’t see the shipping until the credit card info went in. thumbs down
not shopping cables HERE again! i would rather pay too much upfront in a store!

Pros – 1. good price

3. works fine with latest HDTV ( only TV not projector)
Cons – 1. It Does not work with projector. I have optoma HD 70, which works great with other HDMI cable and PS3 but not with this cable.

I bought my 25 footer to hook up my Dish HD satellite receiver to a TV in my game room. I needed the cable to be this long. I didn’t even bother pricing it in a store. Another review posted a Best Buy price of $400. This cable works great! Picture and sound is fee-nam-a-nole! Yes, the shipping is high, but buying multiple items makes up for it. My theory is, the companies are pricing the cables below cost and charging more for S&H in order to be higher on the “best price list”. Amazon, you should factor in shipping so the sellers wouldn’t need to do that.
