My Playstation 3 is connected to the home theater via optical–How to get sound from the TV when HT is off?

My PS3 is connected to the home theater via optical therefore everytime I want to play with the audio on I have to turn on the home theater which is somewhat annoying. Is there a way to get regular sound from the TV when the Home Theater is off? The PS3 Output Settings option only allows me to choose ONE connector. Thanks in advance.

Can a DVD Home theater system be connected to BlueRay player, Cable and Xbox later on?

I’m looking for a basic and cheaper home theater system that would do surround sound for DVD player, BlueRay player, Xbox, PS3 and my laptop. Any suggestions? Will these normal DVD home theater systems do that?
@The One: Thanks for the answer. So, I should buy a receiver with speakers and not a dvd home theater. But what about TV? Will TV (from normal antennas etc) connect to that receiver for surround sound?

Can 2 projectors of different brands be connected together and work at the same speed?

I have an EPSON SVGA projector.
I will be getting another projector today that may be of another brand. I want to know if I can connect the two if they’re of different brands.
Will they work at the same speed? Close quality?
Anything I should know?

Thanks!

How would it be if i connected my PS3 to a DLP Projector via a HDMI port?

Would the clarity of the game play and movies reduce if i connected my Playstation3 Console to an Infocus IN72 DLP projector via a HDMI port?
