Electrified RLU-150-001 Replacement Lamp with Housing for Viewsonic Projectors

I have a Viewsonic PJ501 projector, can I make a LED replacement lamp? Lamp: RLU-150-001?

I am just tired of shelling out $250-350 for a new replacement lamp every year or so. I know there are some really high powered LED’s out there and was wondering if there was a way fool the projector I have a good lamp in there, and if I could wire up about 5-10 of these LED lights utilizing some of the projector’s power. Does anyone out there think this is possible? Anyone have the knowledge on how to do this, or at least point me in the right direction. Thanks for any assistance!
