what could be the prob with my my epson emp x3 projector?
there’s a stinky smell like something is burning when i turn on my epson emp x3. it was bought less than a year and the suppllier said it might be due to overusage or wrong way of turning it off but as per specs it doesnt require cooling time.
all projectors require cooling time, some projectors have built in timers between when they turn the lamp off and when the system powers down the fan used to cool the lens. If you are smelling something burning when you try to run the projector there is definitely something wrong with the projector, stop trying to turn it on, get it serviced. Any local electronics repair shop should be able to do that for you, at $60 to $100 an hour for the repairs…
